Lise RomanoffCEO/Founder of Vision Films, says, “This film is a fascinating look at one of the most influential entrepreneurs of our time and the meteoric rise of the ubiquitous brand that has become an integral part of life around the world.”

Manufacturer Alberto de la Cruz shares, “Everyone knows about the rise of Amazon, but few really know how it all began. Nowadays we see him as a billionaire shark, but he used to be a goofy, awkward guy with a weird laugh who realized everyone underestimated this new thing called the internet. The film poses the question: If you were in Bezos’ place, could you hold on to your ideas and dreams to be as successful as he is?”

Manufacturer Armando Gutierrez adds: “The film shows that Amazon in its early days was all about books, but even in his early presentations about the company, even before it was named Amazon, he discussed several times how you use this website to find out about the… Selling internet could potentially sell everything that ever existed. So he saw the potential in the early ’90s, even when the technology wasn’t there to index that amount of stuff.”

“This is truly an irresistible time for entrepreneurship around the world,” says the executive producer and actor Nick Friedman. “Our company, College HUNKS, also started from humble beginnings, with one truck, where I was the first original employee. I’m excited to bring this raw experience to bear to tell the story of Amazon’s first employee, Shel Kaplan, in this film.”

The Movie Stars Grammy® Award Winners Emilio Estefan (husband of Gloria Estefan), Kevin Sorbo (Hercules: The Legendary Adventures), Jevon White (thunder power and tarnishing), Alex Mitchell (An American crime thriller), Sasha Andreyev (Phasma Ex Machina), Nick Friedman (Shark Tank, Undercover Boss, Millionaire Matchmaker)Eliana Ghen (TikTok influencer) and a guest appearance by UFC Champion Jorge Masvidal.

Bezos: The beginning will be available on major streaming and cable platforms in the US and Canada on January 24, 2023.
