New York (WABC) – In this episode of Here and Now you will learn that small businesses in our area that have been devastated by the COVID pandemic may have the lifelines they need.

Two large minority banks will each receive $ 1.8 million in federal relief funds to finance businesses in poorly served communities.

Before that, I’d like to speak to The Black Fairy Godmother, who helped raise $ 250,000 for a family in need during a pandemic.

Sandra Bookman also speaks to Ray J, an entertainer who has become the entrepreneur of his booming tech company.

Long Island actress Medina Senhorn also talks about her role in the movie “Montana’s Eye Dead” and Bronx-born Muggsy McFly talks about his streetwear label “Signed By McFly”.
