DSL PIRATE BLACK

Box score

Start mug: Yoldin De La Paz 5.2 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 4 K

Remarkable accomplishments:

Enmanuel Terrero 1-4, BB

Javier Rivas 2-5

Shalin Polanco 0-5

Omar Alfonzo 1-3, HR (1), BB

Jesus Castillo 2-3, BB

Game summary:

The black team (33-21) ended a game that was suspended after two and a half innings on August 10. They were 1-0 down and ultimately lost 6-2 against the Red Sox Blue. Yoldin De La Paz started the game a long time ago and came back to continue. He ended up with five and two-thirds and only gave up one deserved run, but two unearned runs cost him the loss. Javier Rivas and Jesus Castillo each had two hits. Catcher Omar Alfonzo hit his second home run (the boxing score says it was his first, which it would have been if he hit him back on Aug 10, but he hit him today so it was his second no matter how you look at it)). Osvaldo Gavilan had a triple.

The two teams had planned a game for today, but it was canceled.

Weslyn Toussaint gave up the three runs in the eighth. Juan Machado had two of the team’s six goals. Rodolfo De La Cruz had the only additional base hit, a triple.
